RUSSELL HEAP

Russell was born in Yorkhire and grew up on Merseyside. Aged 11 he was bought an oil paint set and in his teen years loved the rich robustness and capacity to manipulate the paint. At University cricket and rugby took precedent over painting and studies, then starting and running an independent wine business for 25 years, so Russell only started painting again in 2017, mainly commissioned work of pets and people.
