Mark making is at the heart of Adams work. A passion for simply making marks on a page, the tactile feedback and visceral response has become impulsive and addictive. That combined with a love for light, colour and observational work has led to these expressive works.

His ultimate goal is to create work that starts a conversation between people, shines light into a world. Pushes and prods, not give answered but create questions.

Adam works in a variety of media within the pieces, charcoal, acrylic paint, oil pastel, soft pastel. At times layering all into one piece. Jostling the push and pull, searching for a way to communicate energy and life within the image.
